ARGAN OIL OF MOROCCO

The majority of the Argan oil production and trade is owned and operated by Berber women of Morocco. The nuts are cracked and pressed and can sometimes take up to 8 hours to extract 1-liter of this precious liquid. Although labor is long, it is also a source of empowerment to the indigenous women who do most of the production and work. Pure argan oil was named “liquid gold” in an article featured in the New York Times. The oil is exceptionally abundant in Vitamins A and E, antioxidants, linoleic acid and omega-6 fatty acids that it’s no wonder it is one of the most revered beauty oils in the industry.

Research shows that when applied to skin, Argan oil benefits include easing inflammation and promoting hair growth. It also absorbs quickly making this ideal for use on the scalp.

Argan oil applied to the hair makes for one of the most effective and natural moisturizers. It tames frizz, protects from heat styling, restores natural shine and can even seal split ends. Few oils, if none, come close to the potent benefits Argan oil provides.

Applications

When applied to hair for conditioning, apply a generous amount to fully nourish from scalp to the ends of your hair. The same applies for overnight hair masks and styling.

Argan oil shelf life is 3-6 months depending on the quality you buy. It is best kept away from direct sunlight and sealed tight.
